THE READERS

Allow me to introduce you this remarkable individual Sara Jaril.

Sara's linguistic prowess is nothing short of impressive. Fluent in not one, not two, but five languages, she effortlessly traverses linguistic landscapes with ease.

From the mellifluous flow of Korean to the lyrical cadence of Arabic, from the sophistication of French to the global reach of English, and even the intricacies of Hindi, Sara's linguistic talents allow her to bridge gaps and connect with individuals from diverse corners of the world.

But her allure goes beyond words – Sara possesses a magnetic beauty that emanates both from her outward appearance and her inner radiance.

Her external elegance is merely a reflection of the inner grace that she exudes.

Sara is an enchanting French woman of Moroccan descent.Morocco, the land of vibrant colors, aromatic spices, and diverse traditions, plays a significant role in shaping Sara's identity.

SHE entered my life in 2019, a year that will undoubtedly be remembered for its challenges and revelations.

Fate brought us together to talk about an important and relevant topic - the complicated and sometimes harmful discussion about race in France. Even though French is known for its language pride, Sara and I ended up using English to have this conversation.

This irony is particularly striking when considering France's reputation for cherishing its language, yet here we were, opting for another tongue to convey ideas that seemed untranslatable.

Sara's intellect is a marvel, driven by curiosity and knowledge and her insights surpass the ordinary.

In a world where accountability is often elusive, SHE stands as a beacon of responsibility. She doesn't shy away from acknowledging uncomfortable truths or grappling with difficult questions.

We connected deeply because of our love for books. But we also have a shared interest in fashion. The creativity and beauty of fashion allow us to explore our diverse backgrounds in new and meaningful ways.

Sara brings with her a deep appreciation for the written word, and she has chosen to share with us a masterpiece that has left an indelible mark on her heart.

The book that has captured her imagination and resonated with her soul is none other than "Purple Hibiscus" by the brilliant author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Set against the backdrop of Nigeria, this novel is a tapestry of emotions, complexities, and vivid storytelling that has captivated readers worldwide.

I remember opening and closing « Purple Hibiscus » by Chimamanda several times before really getting into the story.

I thought the reason was simply that it was too difficult to relate to an introvert teenager before I actually realized that I was just like Kambili, the main character, suffocating in her repressive schedule and routine and could finally breath when her progressiste and independent aunt and cousins came into the picture.

I smiled, I laughed, I cried, I dreamed, I feared, I lived through this haunting tale of a young girl who discovers slowly everything that has been stolen from her.

As she claims back her roots, her identity, her spirituality, her love, her life I found myself running through the pages and was heartbroken when they were nones to be turned.

Yet, Kambili remained in my soul where I could imagine the rest of her story.
