Launched in spring 2016 by Sarah Diouf, Tongoro is 100% made in Senegal. The brand focuses on understanding the fashion that our customers want, offering playful and unique apparel.
By sourcing their materials on the continent and working with local tailors, their long-term goal is to create a new dynamic for Africa-based manufacturing, and foster the economic and social development of artisanal workers in western Africa.
Published in 2012, the book explores the concept of returning to a 'state of Zero'—a childlike condition where life is perceived as miraculous. The book provides guidance on shedding limitations to rediscover one's true self.
